Photographs capturing Mallory Tolcher’s recent art exhibit of jerseys that challenge gender stereotypes of women in sport and celebrate the rise and acceptance of professional women’s basketball. Images were on show at the Kamloops Art Gallery in British Columbia.

Shot In Guelph

These images were shot in various areas of Guelph on the most rainy and miserable day! However, with strong on-location lighting and a few edits, the final images look sunny and bright.

Beauty & Purpose

The artist, Mallory Tolcher, wanted images that showcase how her beautiful jerseys flowed when they were worn by women. By working at multiple angles and prompting movement from the models, the photos perfectly display how beautiful the jerseys are when worn.

Our Favourite Photo

The photo of the pink 22 jersey photographed from the back is our favourite image from this photoshoot. It was displayed on a billboard outside of the art gallery, as well as used on the cover of all the promotional materials.
